Gluttony is a sin, but it goes deeper than just eating that extra slice of pizza. It's fundamentally about selfishness. Gluttony makes our pleasure and preferences the center of the universe when it comes to food and drink. You can be a glutton because you're too picky with food. You can be fit and still a glutton because you do not consider others at the dinner table. How do we combat this sin in our lives? One effective way: fasting.
